Marina Lochak: Biography

Director of the State Museum of Fine Arts Pushkin Marina Devovna Lochak was born November 22, 1955 in Odessa (Ukraine). She graduated from the Odessa State University named after Mechnikov specialty "Classical Philology."

She worked at the Odessa State Literary Museum, after moving to Moscow in 1986, she worked at the State Museum of Mayakovsky.

Since 1989 - the curator of the bank "Capital" in 1991 - co-founder (along with Elena Language and Love Shax) gallery "Rose Azor." Since 1998 - Head of PR-service bank "SBS-Agro" and "cultural attache" of the bank.

From 1999 to 2003 Lochak served as the director of the Moscow Center for the Arts on Neglinnaia, where she organized several exhibitions of Russian avant-garde.
