Washington believes that Edward Snowden remains in Russia

The U.S. authorities have information that a former CIA agent Edward Snowden remains in Russia. It is reported by Associated Press, citing an official representative of the President of the United States.

The White House said that they are trying to persuade Moscow to extradite E.Snoudena U.S. and not allow him to escape from justice.
In the U.S. administration also said that the decision of the Chinese authorities to provide opportunities E.Snoudenu leave Hong Kong was not taken at the lowest level, and the country's leadership.
