Sick Miley Cyrus pulls out of Australia's The X Factor duties

A BAD bout of laryngitis forced Miley Cyrus to pull out of her work on Australia's The X Factor.

Cyrus, 20, was to film a home visit with contestants in LA but cancelled 24 hours before she was due to participate.

Yesterday she tweeted about her poor health: "Sick in bed. Neck, belly , throat, head ... It all hurts."

A day earlier she resorted to using the F-bomb: "In so much pain. I hate being sick. My neck f...ing hurtttttts. Can't move my neck. Can't breathe. Cant barely speak. Coughing like a MF. WTF?!?! I gotta stop working myself up though."

Proving herself to be well connected, Cyrus managed to organise a celebrity replacement at the last minute. Details about who it will be are being kept under wraps until the show airs.

Channel Seven and Fremantle Media have a team in LA working on the episode, which will go to air in the coming months.

"It was a shame Miley couldn't record with us but she did pick up the phone and help us find our new guest judge," a show spokesman told Confidential.

"We're thrilled with our new guest judge, they will be a great asset to the show."

Despite her illness, Cyrus has been seen making her way to and from the recording studio in Burbank, California, in recent days in a minimal amount of clothing looking, might we say, quite well if not a little under-dressed.

The We Can't Stop singer has been generating a lot of talk of late thanks to her racy attire and party-girl attitude.

The former Hannah Montana teen star was yesterday photographed flaunting her long legs in not much more than a Chicago Bulls jersey and ski-high heels.
