The name of Kim Kardashian's andKanye West's baby has been revealed.

PHOTOS: Whoa, Baby: Hollywood's Most Memorable Newborn AnnouncementsTMZ reported Thursday the couple has chosen to name their baby daughter North -- as in North West. The website cited the birth certificate from L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai hospital, where the baby was delivered Saturday.

E! News cited sources who confirmed the baby's name, reporting that the baby has no middle name and that the new parents plan to call her "Nori" for short.

The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Kardashian's and West's reps for confirmation.

Meanwhile, reaction online was instant to the cardinal direction-heavy name. Not long after news of the name hit the Web, "North West" became a trending topic on Twitter, with many cracking jokes about the unique moniker.
