Fatal Accident on Manuels Access

One woman in her 30s is dead and a man has been sent to hospital following an accident on the Manuels Access Road. VOCM's Danielle Barron reports.

A car was travelling west on the Manuels Access around 2:30 p.m. this afternoon when it lost control and flipped into the median  into oncoming eastbound traffic. The female passenger in her 30s was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver was sent to hospital with serious - but what are believed to be non-life threatening - injuries. There was also damage to an eastbound motorhome. The sequence of events that led to the accident is still under investigation.
